Fernsteuerung, Remote Control (RC) für den Modellbau
Remote controls, also known as remote control (RC), are at the heart of model making and every RC model. They are of crucial importance for controlling model cars, model airplanes, model ships and model helicopters.
Remote controls with at least 2 channels are required to control models. One channel is required for forward/reverse movement. A second channel is used for steering with right/left functions. Additional channels can be used to control special functions. For example, lighting or sound modules.
In addition to transmitters, receivers and servos, you will find further modules and features for your remote-controlled model in the RC model store.
The importance of the right remote control
Choosing the right remote control is crucial in order to have full control over your RC model. Remote controls are not just simple wireless devices; they are sophisticated technical devices designed specifically for the requirements of RC models. Different models require different radio controls to achieve the best possible performance.
Important criteria when selecting a remote control are, for example, the response time, range and how many channels the receiver should and can be assigned. Thanks to innovative technology, our remote controls generally feature a new hopping telemetry transmission high-frequency section with high-quality components and state-of-the-art software.
Remote controls for RC model cars
When it comes to model cars, precision and responsiveness are key. High-quality remote controls provide precise steering and acceleration to control your model car on the race track. The right remote control will allow you to optimize the speed and handling of your RC car to beat the competition.
At least two channels are required to drive an electric RC car. They allow you to drive straight ahead, backwards, left and right. An RC car with a combustion engine also requires an additional channel for reversing.
Remote controls for RC model airplanes
Model airplanes require even greater precision as they have to navigate in the air. Modern remote controls for model airplanes offer a wide range of functions, including trim, altitude control, roll and yaw angles. These functions are critical to the stability and maneuverability of your aircraft.
A minimum of 4 channels is required, but to fly an RC helicopter, for example, you need a transmitter with 6 proportional channels. Less than 6 proportional channels are unsuitable in the long term. 8 channels or more are best suited.
Remote controls for model ships
Model ships require precise control for navigation on water surfaces. Additional functions such as light and sound effects can make your model ship experience even more exciting.
Remote controls with at least 2 channels are important for controlling model ships. In our online store you will find the right receiver for 4 to 9-channel remote controls. Each receiver has different strengths and features.
