There are many reasons why this 711mm "big" tugboat in particular inspires many passionate modellers. The boot-friendly size of the LORD NELSON means that it can also be used on small bodies of water. The many "natural" woods used, the chrome steel railing and many other metal fittings give the VICTORY TUG its incomparable sturdy look!
This model was completely redesigned in 2012. The hull is planked with balsa wood and later sealed with a glass fibre mat. PVC parts are used for the superstructure, which are easy to work with and can be painted without a lot of sanding. Both the construction and the documentation have been significantly improved. The model now comes with 51 pages of building instructions and 64 detailed drawings. The new Victory Tug is better than ever before.
The fuselage is built in the classic wooden frame construction method. All fittings are included in the kit. A drive set with shaft and propeller is included in the kit, but these should be replaced with metric parts with bearings.
