GRAUPNER Hawk 12 HoTT receiver with 3-axis gyro and vario (6-channel)

With the Hawk 12, Graupner presents a powerful 6-channel receiver with integrated 3-axis gyro and particularly vibration-resistant 3-axis acceleration sensor, diversity antennas, vario and attitude mode for fixed-wing models or rescue mode and attitude mode for helicopters.

With GRAUPNER HoTT 2.4 GHz technology, the receiver has a secure hopping telemetry transmission high-frequency section with high-quality components and state-of-the-art software. The receiver transmits the parameters "receiver voltage", "receiver temperature", "signal strength", "altitude" and "altitude difference (vario)" to the transmitter without additional sensors. It is also possible to transmit the Euler angles to the transmitter and display them there.

Together with the antenna diversity, the antenna amplifier ensures an enormous range. The faster 32-bit L4 processor guarantees energy-saving operation and the higher performance ensures that the Hawk 12 can also be used as a flybarless system for helicopters and as a flight controller for copters. Of course, the integrated Hawk gyro system can also be used perfectly for fixed-wing models. There are 4 different gyro modes: OFF, normal stabilisation, heading lock, rotation rate mode and attitude mode. When set correctly, the gyro rate mode enables knife-edge flight and torquing without control corrections. Extremely quick, easy and convenient to set via the Hott transmitter telemetry menu.

Just like its namesake, the hawk, the Hawk 12 epitomises determination, power and precision. Go on the hunt for the perfect flight with the Hawk.

Wing models

Stabilisation of the flight model in difficult wind conditions for up to 3 axes
Natural flight behaviour thanks to proportional gyro blanking
The 3-axis gyro means that even difficult-to-control aerobatic models can be flown very smoothly and aerobatics are made extremely easy
Flight manoeuvres can be flown much more cleanly
4 different gyro modes: OFF, normal stabilisation, heading lock, turn rate mode for particularly easy knife-edge flight and simple torquing as well as attitude mode
Simple setting of the gyro assignment
    Parameter setting via HoTT telemetry
Software with attitude mode enables easy landings even in difficult wind conditions
    5 free mixers
SUMD output for connection to flybarless systems, flight controllers or a power box.
SUMDIN input for redundant receiver operation.

Flybarless system for helicopters

Rescue mode and attitude mode for helicopters
Basic setting completed in a few minutes via HoTT telemetry
Fast and innovative axis assignment for flexible installation direction
Extremely space-saving due to size, weight and elimination of cables, making it easy to store
Special vibration-resistant 3-axis sensors of the latest generation
Swashplate pirouette optimisation and direction of tail torque compensation are detected automatically
All common heli swashplates 90/120/135/140 degrees and 90 degrees 4 servos
Adjustable swashplate rotation up to 90 degrees for multi-blade heads
Clear standard menu and selectable expert menu if required
Sensitivity parameters can also be adjusted during flight to speed and style depending on flight phase via encoder
Super-fast due to elimination of transmission time from receiver to flybarless system
    Very direct control feel

Programming for helicopters

Simple programming of the basic settings via telemetry.
Pirouette optimisation is determined automatically from the parameters and works extremely well.
Extreme flight stability with full 3D capability even with the basic settings.
The effect for the tail and swashplate can be easily set via the telemetry menu or via selectable encoders.
Further optimisation options in expert mode for personal flying style and personal requirements.
Extremely simple adjustment of the basic settings via the telemetry:
    Rotor rotation direction
    Swashplate type
    Swashplate frequency 50...200 Hz
    Swashplate direction
Swash plate servo centres Servo 1...3 (4)
Set swashplate cyclic travel to 8°
    Swash plate pitch travel A/B
    Swashplate limit
    Swashplate rotation
Tail servo centre pulse 760µs, 960µs, 1.5 ms
    Tail servo frequency 50...333 Hz
    Tail servo centre position
    Rescue pitch
    Expo yes/no
Logging for service purposes or for Euler angle display
    Expert mode yes/no
    Simple gyro axis assignment
Gyro effect for tail and swashplate via telemetry or adjustable encoders.
Further parameters can be set in expert mode.

Flight control for copter

Copter software Q07 with Dshot controller protocol can be loaded via software update
Basic settings can be made in just a few minutes via the telemetry menu
Fast and innovative axis assignment for flexible installation direction
Special vibration-resistant 3-axis sensors of the latest generation
The housing protects the electronics in the event of a crash. The special double-sided adhesive tape additionally dampens vibrations.
8kHz gyro frequency, multishot and fast PID control routines as well as new software filters ensure a perfect flying experience.
    D-Shot with turtle mode.
Quadrotype XI (Quadrocopter X with reversed prop rotation direction), which has proven itself especially in FPV races, so that the lens remains clear and the props turn away from the obstacle.
When the S8437 GPS sensor is connected to K5/Telemetry and K5 is set to SENSOR, the functions are also available: Hold GPS with altitude hold, Come home and Fly waypoints (with HoTT Viewer app and USB OTG cable) are available.
Telemetry support for own Hott sensors and Hott sensors from other providers
SUMD output for other flybarless receivers.
SUMDIN input for redundant receiver operation.
Voltage input for external voltage divider, e.g. already included in the S3082 and S3083 controllers.
Suitable for HV. Input voltage range 3.6...8.4 V
Can be programmed and operated with all previously available HoTT transmitters with telemetry
