The river tug AMERICAN BEAUTY was built by St.Louis for Argi Trans Service: Length 52m , width 13,7m , with full load 2,75m draught. Power 2x2500hp diesel engines driving two 315mm propellers. This power is sufficient for 20-25 barges, each 61 metres long and 10.7 metres wide, with a huge surface area of 160 square metres and a speed of 6-14 km/h.
The hull is made of thick-walled ABS. The deck and superstructure are made of high-quality, pre-cut birch and mahogany wood. You should install two powerful electric motors to power the AMERICAN BEAUTY. The propulsion system is authentic down to the smallest detail. Double Kort propellers, double front rudders and an additional 4 rudders allow maximum steering precision with full "pusher" performance!
The instructions are very brief. However, detailed drawings and very large plans quickly give the experienced modeller a good overview.
An optional set of fittings includes an 81-piece deck layout for the scale look!
