Smit Rotterdam RC model kit


Built in 1975 for Smit International BV in Holland, it was the largest and most powerful tugboat in the world when it was completed, with a displacement of 2,273 tonnes, a length of 75 m and 22,000 hp. It reaches 16.5 knots. The boat has a bulbous stem and bow thruster, and the equipment includes the latest in navigation, steering and radio communication.

This kit is based on classic frame construction. All wooden parts are precisely laser-cut. A 1:1 construction plan, building instructions and all the wooden, plastic and fitting parts required for assembly are included.
