With this RC Beginner’s Remote Control Set, you’ll receive a complete basic kit for the remote control and power supply of model boats and smaller RC car models. The set consists of high-performance, perfectly matched components and is ideal for getting started in RC model-making.

2-channel pistol-grip remote control with long range

The included 2-channel pistol-grip remote control controls the model’s most important functions. One channel is used for speed control, whilst the second channel is used for steering or, in the case of model boats, for the rudder servo.

The remote control operates at the maximum transmission power specified for this radio application, thereby ensuring a reliable radio link and a long range – both on water and with RC cars.

Powerful 60 A speed controller

The included Hobbywing QuicRun 1060 speed controller is designed for brushed motors and can handle a continuous load of up to 60 A. Significantly higher current peaks are possible for short periods.

Thanks to its generous dimensions, the controller covers a wide range of typical model-making motors. In model boat building in particular, this provides sufficient headroom to experiment with different boat propellers, propeller sizes and motor set-ups. For RC cars, various motor and pinion combinations can be tested accordingly.

The speed controller features important protective functions, providing a robust foundation for both beginners and advanced model-makers.

Standard servo with 3.7 kg of holding force

A standard servo with 3.7 kg of holding force is included for steering or rudder control. This holding force is perfectly adequate for numerous small and medium-sized RC models and enables reliable and direct control.

7.2 V NiMH battery with 2200 mAh

Power is supplied by a 7.2 V NiMH stick pack with a capacity of 2200 mAh. The six NiMH cells provide a straightforward and robust power supply and – depending on the motor, model weight and driving style – offer sufficient running time for extended test flights and flights.

NiMH batteries are particularly well suited to beginners, as they are comparatively easy to handle and less sensitive than many higher-performance battery systems.

Charger included

The set also includes a plug-in charger for 4 to 8 NiCd and NiMH cells with a charging current of 1 A. This allows the included 6-cell battery pack to be charged directly. The moderate charging current ensures gentle and straightforward recharging of the battery pack.
