This beautifully designed model is a further development of the popular Lilienthal 32 free flight model, which has consistently achieved very good results in youth competitions. With the Lilienthal 40 RC, adding remote control is no longer a problem. The fuselage offers enough space for two micro servos, a receiver and a battery. A suitable servo board, linkages and Bowden tubes are included in the kit. However, the model can also be built as a pure free flight model and the RC components can be retrofitted at a later date. A high launch hook is also included in the kit. As you would expect from aero-naut, all parts are precisely laser-cut. The model's leading edge is already milled into shape – no sanding is required here. The wing is glued together with pre-formed balsa parts using support ribs. The wing tips are already manufactured with the appropriate V-shape, which means that no time-consuming sanding is required. With a wingspan of 1,190 mm, a take-off weight of 190-220 g is achieved, depending on whether RC components are included. The model is assembled using the unique, youth-friendly 3D-style instructions familiar from aero-naut models, which guarantee quick and easy construction. The model is approved and ideally suited for youth competitions in model flying associations.

To equip the model for remote control, you will need two AN-8-HBA servos (order no. 7003/70) and, optionally, the drive set order no. 7126/01.
