The ‘Azzurro’ is an elegant, dynamic four-flap electric glider that impresses with its easy handling and great flying characteristics. The model's design and construction are as light as possible and as stable as necessary – that was our goal. It is an attractive glider for flying in the flat or on slopes. The ‘Azzurro’ impresses with its wide speed range, thanks to its sophisticated wing profile. The model is just as at home performing dynamic aerobatic manoeuvres as it is on extended thermal flights. Thanks to the four-flap wing, the profile can be cambered and flattened to adjust the speed range. The lowered flaps and raised ailerons also help to reduce altitude and speed during landing.
As with all Pichler model aircraft, great importance has been attached to quality. This model also features the superb design based on the motto ‘as many parts as necessary and as few parts as possible’. This gives the Azzurro optimum stability and high performance. The wing of the Azzurro is in two parts and equipped with a stable plug-in system. Powerful climbs are possible with the recommended drive set. Even a RED POWER 2200mAh LiPo battery ensures optimum centre of gravity and is sufficient for extended flights, even without thermals. The fuselage offers enough space for the battery, controller and servos. The canopy is secured with magnets.
