‘SLIDER Q’ is a high-performance glider model in a revolutionary plywood/balsa wood construction with a 4-flap wing. This construction method provides exceptional strength combined with low weight and represents the link to the full-GRP/CRP shell construction method. The model has outstanding all-round flight characteristics and, thanks to its innovative construction, is equally impressive in terms of flight dynamics. The use of flaps allows the range of use to be individually adjusted, either towards thermals or more towards flight dynamics. In addition, the butterfly configuration allows steep landings and precise landings.
The model has removable outer surfaces for easier transport. All servo cable connections are made automatically with plugs in the root ribs or spring-loaded contacts between the fuselage and wing.
The pendulum elevator is ball-raced for optimum precision.
The extensive kit with many parts is made from carefully selected woods and includes all the necessary wooden parts as well as small items such as wing joints, GRP rudder horns, hinges, etc.
The construction is quick and easy thanks to many construction aids such as scaffolding for the fuselage and wings, but requires experience in handling more complex wooden kits.
Comprehensive illustrated instructions and a 1:1 construction plan are also included.
