The LT 200 Flex offers complete flexibility when building a model aircraft. The kit can be used to build either a glider or an electric glider.

The appropriate frame sets are included for motorised flight, and an attractive balsa nose is provided for the glider version.

Three control options can be built into this model: pure 2-axis control via elevator/aileron, 3-axis control with additional ailerons, or 4-flap wing with camber/brake flaps. This means that the LT 200 Flex can be built from the kit as a RES model or as a fully equipped thermal glider.

The construction is almost entirely based on a wooden design, with the exception of the thin-walled CFRP fuselage boom. The fuselage is constructed in a layered design from laser-cut wooden parts. The wings are made from an easy-to-build rib construction and are completely planked, eliminating the need for covering with film.

The wing profile allows for a very slow flight style and also enables the use of thermals and updrafts even at low altitudes. The brake flaps allow for vertical descent without a significant increase in airspeed.

The LT 200 Flex appeals not only to experienced model flyers who have always wanted a multi-flap wing for leisurely thermal circling, but also to young model builders who have already gained some experience in building wooden models (e.g. with the Lilienthal 40 RC) and now want to fly higher. Thanks to its intuitive design and youth-friendly assembly instructions, this model is also suitable for construction groups in clubs, e.g. as a joint winter construction project.

The kit contains

All precisely laser-cut wooden parts for assembly, as well as small parts for the control linkages, wing mountings, servo board, mould for building the fuselage and wings, assembly instructions with 3D step-by-step drawings.
