The 1971 Mercedes-Benz 300 SEL 6.3 was manufactured by Mercedes-Benz from 1968 to 1971. During this time, it served as the flagship model with a 6.3-litre V8 engine and was given the nickname ‘Dragster’ due to its exceptional acceleration. This ‘Super Saloon’ was characterised by remarkable power and performance. The body of this model is built to an ultra-scale body specification, with the large front grille accurately replicating the Mercedes-Benz ‘three-pointed star’ emblem with separate parts. All components are chrome plated, and the unique vertical twin-bulb headlights and rear combination lamps feature transparent lens-cut injection parts that allow for the installation of LEDs. The body colour is a luxurious beige-grey and the model comes with a factory-finished paint decal application that provides a finished body with a high-quality appearance. Front and rear light housings that are compatible with the separately available 97054 series LED light unit. Installing the LED light unit transforms the model into a body that gives a real car feel. Vintage TC tyres and rally rims with wheel caps that perfectly match the vintage car.

For the pure fun of R/C driving, the combination of a beautifully reproduced body with the FAZER series chassis is unbeatable. Kyosho has given its standard touring car chassis a complete model overhaul that has taken performance to a new level. A simplified design with fewer parts has improved maintenance efficiency and reduced weight, while core strength and rigidity have been increased through new materials and ribs and stiffeners at the front and rear. In addition, the symmetrical chassis design combines excellent front-rear balance with suspension that provides responsive control regardless of the power source. With a slip clutch, front and rear differentials, oil-filled shock absorbers and full ball bearing specifications, the high durability and impact resistance allows the driver to exploit the full potential of the chassis. Brake disc wheel hubs with two different offsets (0 mm, +5 mm) offer compatibility with 190 mm and 200 mm wide body styles and allow the wheelbase to be adjusted to 270 mm by replacing a few parts (sold separately) for compatibility with other 1/10th scale body styles. The body is included. The Ready Set package comes fully assembled and includes everything except the charger and battery for the chassis, as well as batteries for the transmitter.
